“On March 6, 2013, at Sherman Oaks Fashion Square, I spoke to local professionals and small business owners on Marketing, Public Relations and Business Development at a Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce breakfast. The topic was ‘Getting Your Name Out There: Marketing & PR for Professionals & Small Businesses.’
The event was a great success and I received a lot of positive feedback, including a lovely note from the Executive Director of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce, Vicki Nussbaum. She said, “You really helped us understand that social media is not scary and that there are many relatively painless ways to ‘Get Your Name Out There!’”
